About Trinsic

Trinsic builds infrastructure that enables digital identity to work everywhere. Digital ID systems around the world make onboarding to products and services seamless, yet most companies still rely on clunky ID verification flows involving photographing physical ID cards and selfies.

The reason is simple: the digital identity ecosystem is fragmented, global, and poorly documented—there are hundreds of digital ID schemes worldwide and no single, consolidated view to help people make sense of the landscape. At Trinsic, we’ve built and actively maintain an internal database to understand this landscape and help our employees and customers make better product, partnership, and compliance decisions. This role exists to own and elevate the research that makes that possible.

Role Overview

Location: Remote, global

Time Commitment: 10–20 hours per week

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $20/hr (range between ~$15-25/hr dependent on seniority and geography)

Reporting to: Director of Product Partnerships (Zachary Jones)

As a Partner Research Analyst, you will take ownership of Trinsic’s global digital identity research. You’ll maintain and expand a structured knowledge base of digital ID schemes, ensuring the data is accurate, consistent, and useful across product, sales, partnerships, and compliance.

This role is research-heavy and requires strong reasoning skills, comfort with ambiguity, and attention to detail. Much of the work involves synthesizing incomplete or nuanced information into a system others can rely on.
